Cross-linking technology has been considered as one of the effective strategies for
improving the physicochemical stability of proton exchange membranes (PEMs) for fuel cells.
However, the complicated procedure consisting of various reagents and multiple steps has been known to be disadvantageous.
Our study provides a simple and effective cross-linking technology for the development of cross-linked membrane composed of
highly sulfonated hydrocarbon based polymer to get the PEM showing excellent performances.
